Achieve A confident new smile in one day

The BiteLock™ Process

1

Start with a FREE Consultation

BiteLock™ begins with a free consultation with a doctor near you. At the consultation, you will meet your dental implant team and we will create a treatment plan customized for you. We will take digital images of your teeth and jaws, explain how the BiteLock™ system works, and also explain all of your financial options.
2

Final Examinations

When you are ready to move forward with a BiteLock™ treatment, the doctor and team will take records such as CT scan, digital impressions, pictures, and measurements that the doctor will use to virtually plan and design your custom BiteLock™ procedure and draft the final treatment plan. At this time, you will also schedule for the actual surgery.
3

New Teeth Day!

The next step is the day that you receive a new set of teeth. Our oral surgery team will place your dental implants and you will receive a new temporary set of teeth. Though these teeth are only temporary, they look natural and function just like real teeth. From this point on, you will feel the difference in permanent dentures.
4

Periodic Check-Ups and Check-Ins

It can take a few weeks for dental implants to fully heal. During this time, you will eat a soft diet and meet periodically with your doctors to insure that your implants are healing properly. These check-ups are free.
5

Permanent Teeth!

This is the last step in the BiteLock™ process. As your new dental implants heal, they will stabilize and be ready to receive your new permanent teeth. The doctor will remove the temporary teeth and place your new, beautiful permanent teeth.

BiteLock™ can restore a smile even from a lifetime of neglect. It can restore self-confidence and a more youthful appearance.

With BiteLock™ you can eat the foods that you like (even hard, crunchy, chewy foods).

Frequent Questions about Dental Implants

How do dental implants work?

Dental implants are titanium screws placed into the jawbone. Bone bonds with the implant to form a firm foundation for replacement teeth. The implant mimics a natural tooth root and actually preserves jawbone mass over the long term, something other replacement teeth techniques can’t do. Contact our office today to learn more.

Why are the back implants placed at an angle?

We place the back implants angled toward the front of the mouth to ensure that the implant makes the most contact with the jawbone. This increases strength and stability. Additionally, this placement avoids critical obstacles such as the nerve in the jaw and the maxillary sinuses. Contact our office for more information.

How long does the dental implant procedure take?

It depends on each patient’s individual case and the type of procedure being performed. With BiteLock™, patients receive dental implants and replacement teeth on the same day. Call us to find out if you qualify for a free CT scan and BiteLock™ consultation.

What type of x-ray technology does your office use?

We use a state-of-the-art Cone Beam CT scanner. This device scans oral structures and produces 3D images that aid in the analysis of bone density and the precise placement of dental implants. Contact us for additional information about our technology and the BiteLock™ technique.
